Hydrate app description

Hydrate helps you build a calmer water routine with hydration tracking, profile-based goals, progress views, and optional reminders. The app is designed to keep your hydration information private and under your control.

Data collection

Hydrate does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. The hydration entries and profile settings you add in the app are stored locally on your device and are controlled by you.

Health and hydration data

Hydration entries, daily intake amounts, goals, streaks, and progress information are used only to show your in-app hydration history and insights. This information remains on your device unless you choose to share it outside the app using device or operating system features.

User profile data

Profile settings, such as preferences or details you provide to personalize hydration goals, are stored locally on your device. You can update or remove your profile settings in the app at any time.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Hydrate uses your notification permission to send hydration reminders on your device. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or through your device settings.

Local storage

Hydrate stores app data locally on your device so your entries and settings remain available between app sessions. Removing the app may remove locally stored Hydrate data, depending on your device settings and operating system behavior.

Third party services

Hydrate does not sell your data. If the app uses platform services required to operate on your device, those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not use third party advertising trackers to collect your hydration entries or profile settings.

Data security

Because Hydrate stores your information locally, protecting your device helps protect your app data. We recommend using device passcodes, biometric security, and current operating system updates.

User rights and choices

You control the hydration entries, profile settings, and notification preferences you add to Hydrate. You can edit or delete user-controlled information in the app and can remove the app from your device if you no longer want to use it.
